Ottawa Fencing Camp
Introducing the epee and foil intensive camp, aimed at developing new skills and strategies in the sport of fencing. This camp places a special emphasis on fencing bouts, thanks to the presence of our junior staff.
Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to compete in an official competition at the end of the camp (please note that this competition is not organized by the camp, but rather open to those who wish to participate).
Training
FCC guided training includes:
- Guided warm up and cool down
- Guided footwork
- Guided situational fencing
- Fencing bouts with FCC Junior Staff members
- 1 private lesson (15’) included in the price

Although the camp primarily targets are U14, U17, U20, U23, it welcomes participants of all ages. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced fencer, this camp is suitable for you.
- Fencing uniform (pants, jacket, electric jacket for foil, plastron, glove)
- Weapons (our advice for the participants is to have at least 3 working weapons)
- Body wires (our advice for the participants is to have at least 2 working body wires)
- Fencing socksÂ
- Sport clothes
- Fencing shoes
P.S. all equipment should be functional according to the rules of FIE!
Yes, but not during the training time.
The accommodation and food are not provided.
Yes, the cost of one day ticket is 160$ (the competition fee is not included).
Private lessons are offered at a rate of 80 euros for a 25-minute session and 150 euros for a 50-minute session. If you are interested in purchasing a private lesson, please ask to Enrico Garozzo for the available slots once you are at the camp 🙂
